Hi,Looks as though I have had a disk failure on my TS 209 Pro II which is configured as RAID 1 array.
Qnap Ts-209 Pro Ii
Using SMART, disk 2 is reported as Good but disk 1 as not present.No detailed guidance in User Manual and link to customer service seems broken so a few questions before I open the case.
1. How do I determine which drive is which?2. If I replace failed drive with identical model, how do I ensure rebuild goes in right direction, ie from remaining good drive to new drive?
3. How do I get official help with this. I am in UK. Is there a Qnap UK service centre?
4. The drives are Seagate Barracuda ES-2 which I understood had a five year warranty and my invoice is only four years old. Has anybody out there had a drive replaced and how do I get Seagate to honour guarantee?
